L3Harris is seeking to support the development of techniques, tools, and procedures for all aspects of Optical Engineering for the division, including Optical Design, Analysis, Integration, and Test.
Requirements
- Familiarity with optical design software (Zemax, Code V, etc.) and/or
- Familiarity with mathematical analysis codes (Matlab, Mathematica, MathCad, etc.) and/or
- Familiarity with Optical Metrology (Interferometers, image quality metrics, alignment and test techniques, Ansys, etc.).
Responsibilities
- Support development of the techniques, tools, and procedures for all aspects of Optical Engineering for the division.
- Support development of Optical Engineering tools and procedures for Optical Design, Analysis, Integration, and Test.
- Document and control optical tools and procedures.
- Provide Optical Engineering expertise to support manufacturing tasks and issues.
- Assemble, integrate, and test optical sensors to meet project specifications.
- Responsible for other duties as assigned.

- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related field
- The salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $25.00 - $47.50.
- The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $22.00 - $40.50.
