Lexmark is seeking to develop secure embedded firmware for their Optra devices to interface with custom ASICs.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of microprocessor architectures and logic design
- Working knowledge of Linux
- Understanding of Embedded Linux/Zephyr OS
- Understanding of Embedded busses: I2C/SPI/UART
- Knowledge of Development Software: git, CMake, CTest, Bitbake, Jenkins
- Knowledge of secure coding practices
- Knowledge of authentication and encryption
Responsibilities
- Developing system and low-level firmware to drive custom hardware
- Creating development/debug tools
- Writing supporting documentation
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
- Demonstrate creative thinking to identify and solve complex technical problems
- Possess a drive to innovate and for continuous skill development
