Requirements
- Significant experience with an object-oriented programming language (Java, C++, etc.) and software design
- Background classwork or experience in optimization, probability, and statistics
- Some background in machine learning or artificial intelligence
- Experience with Cloud Computing platforms (Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google App Engine or similar)
- Experience working with messaging tools like Kafka, RabbitMQ, and ZeroMQ
- Some experience with DevOps (i.e. Docker, Github Actions etc.)
- Background in stochastic optimization
Responsibilities
- Research and implement best practices to enhance existing machine learning infrastructure in production environments
- Heavily engaged in the software development life cycle to ensure stability and quality of the codebase
- Become a Java champion within the organization to assist and support in continuous improvement and refactoring efforts for existing infrastructure
- Research and implement novel methodologies and techniques
- Troubleshoot complex issues and find resolutions
- Work in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to ship impactful products
Other
- MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Operations Research, or Industrial Engineering OR BS in one of these fields and two or more years of industry experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
