The Engineer Sr Analyst position at Citi aims to solve business and technical problems related to the design, acquisition, and development of hardware, software, and network infrastructure, ensuring quality standards are met within existing and planned frameworks.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in an Engineering role
- Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment
- Project Management experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices
- Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience
- Knowledge of database installation / configuration best practices and Database upgrade/migration approaches.
Responsibilities
- Database support for critical database systems like Postgres, Mongo, Oracle etc.
- Caching database support for Redis and/or Couchbase
- Monitor and address database alerts/issues, capacity constraints, and performance related items.
- Working experience on public cloud
- Understanding & implementation of GenAI and relevant use cases
- Good UNIX scripting and automation experience
- Fully analyze performance issues, identify tuning opportunities and advise developers on SQL tuning options.
