Supporting USPS Engineering client with Oracle Database and Application Development
Requirements
- Oracle Database development experience (PL/SQL scripting, SQL optimization, database maintenance)
- UNIX/Linux experience (Shell scripting)
- Experience with Source Control s/w (Git, Subversion, etc.)
- Hands-on Windows experience
- In depth knowledge of software engineering techniques and concepts
- VB.NET, C-Sharp .NET development experience
- C/C++ development experience
- Classic ASP VBScript experience
- Perl scripting experience
Responsibilities
- Support existing ASP/IIS/Java/Eclipse/WebSphere applications
- Perform software development, testing, and provide support in all phases of the software lifecycle
- Perform analysis on design, implementation, software performance, code review, testing and programing
- Provide support to issues in production
Other
- 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a sensitive security clearance from USPS
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to work independently or coordinate as part of a development team with other software engineers
