Wipro Limited is seeking a skilled Oracle Developer to design, develop, and optimize SQL queries and database structures to support high-performance applications and data processing systems, addressing the need for efficient handling of large data volumes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Oracle Developer with strong command of Oracle SQL.
- Hands-on experience with indexing strategies, clustered indexes, and partitioning in Oracle databases.
- Demonstrated ability to handle large volumes of data efficiently.
- Expertise in SQL performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with Oracle database tools and utilities (e.g., SQL*Plus, TOAD, Oracle Enterprise Manager).
- Experience with PL/SQL and stored procedures.
- Exposure to cloud-based Oracle environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex Oracle SQL queries, including joins, subqueries, indexes, clustered indexes, and partitions.
- Design and implement efficient database schemas and indexing strategies to support large-scale data operations.
- Perform SQL performance optimization, including query tuning, execution plan analysis, and resource usage monitoring.
- Collaborate with data architects and application developers to ensure scalable and reliable data solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks in existing SQL code and database configurations.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational standards.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
