Global Payments is looking to solve the problem of enabling small and mid-sized merchants, restaurateurs, and businesses to prosper by providing them with effective point of sale solutions and comprehensive commerce software. The company aims to achieve this by employing Software Relationship Managers who can prospect, present, and close sales for their cloud-based Point of Sale system and other financial technology products.
Requirements
- Using our CRM platforms Atlas and Salesforce, used for lead generation, sales presentations, on the spot client financial analysis and paperless contract processing.
- Maintain existing/prospective client records, in accordance with company policies, to include call notes, scheduled client interactions, contact information, and other relevant client information, in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system; currently Atlas.
- Continuously build and develop knowledge of current product/service portfolio as well as changes and developments within the financial technology industry, to remain up-to-date.
- At least two years of relevant experience
Responsibilities
- Prospecting and running Heartland Point of Sale presentations both in person and over the phone to small and mid-sized merchants, restaurateurs, and businesses to ultimately close deals within a fast sales cycle.
- Explaining our value proposition and demonstrating our cloud based Point of Sale solution.
- Upselling current clients on other Heartland products and services.
- Maintaining regular communication with the Point of Sale District Manager.
- Work closely with your local District Manager to set appointments with business owners in person via your network and referral partnerships that you build.
- Run scheduled appointments, uncover needs, and present Heartland Point of Sale solutions to close sales in small to mid-sized businesses.
- Using our CRM platforms Atlas and Salesforce, used for lead generation, sales presentations, on the spot client financial analysis and paperless contract processing.

- Responsible for prospecting new clients.
- Responsible for achieving minimum production requirements, including setting first time appointments, to secure quota.

- This position requires regular driving to visit client sites, therefore a valid drivers license is necessary

- Completion of mandatory drug screening on or near 60th day of employment
- Live in area relative to job posting location
- Ability to be in the field, a minimum of 75% of the time
- High school diploma/GED
