Global Payments and Heartland are looking to solve the problem of providing payment technology and software solutions to small and mid-sized merchants, restaurateurs, and businesses, and are seeking a Software Relationship Manager to close sales of their business solutions.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Restaurant and/or Retail industry is a plus
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Atlas and Salesforce
  • Experience with cloud-based Point of Sale solutions
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
  • Ability to use technology to track sales performance and client interactions
  • Experience with sales presentations and demonstrations
  • Experience with financial analysis and contract processing

Responsibilities

  • Explaining the value proposition and demonstrating the cloud-based Point of Sale solution
  • Upselling current clients on other Heartland products and services
  • Maintaining regular communication with the Point of Sale District Manager
  • Using CRM platforms Atlas and Salesforce for lead generation, sales presentations, on-the-spot client financial analysis, and paperless contract processing
  • Running scheduled appointments, uncovering needs, and presenting Heartland Point of Sale solutions to close sales in small to mid-sized businesses
  • Prospecting new clients and maintaining existing/prospective client records in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Continuously building and developing knowledge of current product/service portfolio as well as changes and developments within the financial technology industry

  • High school diploma/GED preferred
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites
