Requirements
- Knowledge of Restaurant and/or Retail industry is a plus
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Atlas and Salesforce
- Familiarity with cloud-based Point of Sale solutions
- Understanding of financial technology industry trends and developments
- Ability to use technology to analyze client financial information and process contracts
- Experience with sales presentations and demonstrations
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software applications
Responsibilities
- Explaining the value proposition and demonstrating cloud-based Point of Sale solutions to small and mid-sized merchants, restaurateurs, and businesses
- Upselling current clients on other Heartland products and services
- Maintaining regular communication with the Point of Sale District Manager
- Using CRM platforms Atlas and Salesforce for lead generation, sales presentations, on-the-spot client financial analysis, and paperless contract processing
- Prospecting new clients and maintaining existing/prospective client records in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
- Building and developing knowledge of current product/service portfolio as well as changes and developments within the financial technology industry
- Utilizing short-cycle sales process to close sales in small to mid-sized businesses
