Global Payments aims to expand its Point of Sale solutions to small and mid-sized merchants, restaurateurs, and businesses by prospecting, demonstrating, and closing sales of their cloud-based POS solutions.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Restaurant and/or Retail industry is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Prospecting and running Global Payments Point of Sale presentations both in person and over the phone to small and mid-sized merchants, restaurateurs, and businesses to close deals within a fast sales cycle.
- Explaining the value proposition and demonstrating the cloud-based Point of Sale solution.
- Upselling current clients on other Global Payments products and services.
- Maintaining regular communication with the Point of Sale District Manager.
- Maintaining existing/prospective client records in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system; currently Atlas.
- Using CRM platforms Atlas and Salesforce for lead generation, sales presentations, on the spot client financial analysis, and paperless contract processing.
- Continuously building and developing knowledge of the current product/service portfolio and changes in the financial technology industry.

- 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license is necessary due to regular driving to visit client sites.
- Completion of mandatory drug screening on or near 60th day of employment.
- Live in the area relative to the job posting location.
- Ability to be in the field a minimum of 75% of the time.
