Pratt & Whitney is seeking to transform its business processes and systems through the oneRTX: Process & Systems Transformation (PST) project, which involves harmonizing processes, tools, and metrics across RTX and deploying SAP’s S/4HANA enterprise resource management platform.
Requirements
- SAP data experience
- Overall business familiarity of procurement and operations
- 1+ Full-cycle S/4 Implementation with data migration.
- SQL experience
- Experience with SAP Data, with particular emphasis on the end-to-end data flow between the Data and business processes.
- Experience with the mapping and training of business processes
- Background in ERP/Systems transformation
Responsibilities
- Data Ownership & Stewardship – Ensure business-critical data is accurate, relevant, and aligned with operational needs.
- Business-Driven Data Profiling – Review profiling results to identify business-impacting issues (e.g., outdated customer records, invalid material codes).
- Define Data Quality Rules – Collaborate with DT Leads to define business rules for acceptable data quality thresholds and cleansing logic.
- Data Cleansing Oversight – In conjunction with the workstreams, define criteria for data cleansing objects, validate cleansing actions, provide business context for corrections, and approve final cleansed datasets.
- Legacy Data Mapping & Enrichment – Guide mapping of legacy fields to SAP structures and enrich data with missing business attributes.
- Validation & Sign-Off – Review migrated data in SAP S/4HANA, participate in functional testing, and formally sign off on data readiness.
- Documentation & Reporting – Maintain detailed documentation of data processes, requirements, and outcomes. Provide regular reports and updates to stakeholders on data project progress and outcomes.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience in business, digital, or related field or an Advanced Degree and 7 years of experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Intensive project phases will require 15-25% travel, to major RTX facilities (e.g. Farmington CT, McKinney TX, Cedar Rapids IA, Charlotte NC).
