The company is looking for an individual to perform packaging testing, manage sample information, and provide customer support related to these testing services.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and General Computer Literacy is required.
- Knowledge of ASTM standards is desired.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Transit and Package Integrity Testing as Per ASTM Standards , ISTA standard or per Customer Protocol.
- Add Sample Information to Laboratory Inventory Management System and may include generating a Work Order
- Prepare Test Evidence Report.
- Entry level data review and data reporting, following good documentation practices
- Maintain Records of Packaging Testing.
- Monitor and Provide customer support regarding testing services provided.
- Update Customer on test Status, updates, results.
Other
- Receiving Customer samples and recording information in Shipping and receiving Log.
- Report any Deviation observed to operations Manager.
- Comply with Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and company policies
- B.S Degree in Engineering, Packaging or Packaging Emphasis, or Equivalent Technical education Degree.
- 3-5 years of previous experience in packaging, Production testing or related industry is desired but not required.
- Ability to lift bulky items up to 30 lbs, climb, bend and reach without restriction is required.
