Halifax Health is looking to solve the problem of analyzing user requirements, designing and developing workflows to support the imaging environment, troubleshooting and resolving issues, training users, and writing user and system documentation for their PACS/Imaging solutions.
Requirements
- Significant experience and expertise in system architecture, application design, build, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with PACS/Imaging applications for collaboration and communication both internally and with Imaging partners.
- Experience with PACS/Imaging solutions
- Experience with PACS/Imaging Integrations and reporting
- Agile methods like Kanban
- Ability to contribute to budget projections
- Deeply understands the product, cross-system, and architectural systems
Responsibilities
- Define and champion the long-term technology vision for our PACS/Imaging environment.
- Develop solutions and processes that support the growth of PACS/Imaging at Halifax Health
- Plan, lead, and facilitate architecture workshops for new PACS/Imaging modules and optimizations.
- Architect, design, and develop "best-in-class" software system services by ensuring they are well-defined & modularized, secure & reliable, reusable, and actively monitored.
- Lead software applications and systems engineering discussions, capturing key design decisions in defined systems architecture, and assessing impacts to overall technology performance.
- Install and configure applications.
- Add, modify, and audit system/user permission to applications, maintain appropriate system security levels and continually improve enterprise threat posture.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in a computer or imaging related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements
- Ability to partner with multiple stakeholders and influence project decisions
