Fletcher Group Automation is seeking a Robotics Engineer to advance their career in automation, specifically in paint application processes, to help manufacturers increase efficiency, reduce errors, and stay competitive in an evolving global market.
Requirements
- Familiar with Fanuc, ABB, Kawasaki, Nachi, or Kuka paint robots
- Knowledge of paint process, film build up, and addressing orange peel and paint quality issues
- Familiar with 1k & 2k paint systems, paint atomizers - rotary bells
- Strong knowledge of robotic systems integration
- Preferred knowledge of PLC controls systems
- Experience with Line Tracking
- Apply experience in material handling, spot welding, MIG welding, and sealing/dispensing
Responsibilities
- Program and configure painting robots for various industrial applications
- Optimize robotic paint application processes to achieve high-quality finishes
- Configure interference zones, I/O, and vision systems
- Perform robot setup including mastering, TCP, payload, and offline programs
- Troubleshoot and debug PLCs in coordination with the Controls Engineer
- Optimize cycle times and improve throughput
- Support electrical and software design as needed
Other
- 2–5 years of experience as a Robotics Engineer
- Ability to travel to customer sites across North America
- Valid passport and driver’s license
- Eligibility for a TN Visa
- Promote and comply with all safety standards
