Penn State Dairy farm is seeking part-time assistance with dairy nutrition experiments.
Requirements
- ability to lift 50 lbs with or without assistance
- Previous experience with cows or other large animals preferred
Responsibilities
- collecting and weighing feed refusals
- calculating amount of feed needed that day
- mixing and delivering feed to cows on nutrition experiments
- assist with collection of milk samples some mornings
Other
- Requires early morning hours (~530 to 830 AM) 3 to 4 days per week.
- Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
