The Bletz Lab at Penn State is seeking undergraduate student(s) to assist with lab-based research funded by the Morris Animal Foundation on the role of protists in shaping the protective function of amphibian microbiomes and their impact on amphibian fungal pathogens.
Requirements
- Ability to carry out microbiological and molecular lab work
- Knowledge of bacterial culturing
- Knowledge of protist culturing
- Knowledge of interaction assays
- Knowledge of DNA extraction
- Knowledge of PCR

- Successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies
- Bachelor's degree not required but undergraduate student status is required
- Ability to work with graduate students in the lab
