The Penn State Climate Consortium is seeking a student intern to support staff and transdisciplinary research teams in developing, supporting, and collecting data on Climate Consortium programming in climate solutions.
Requirements
- Experience in visual and written arts and/or communication
- Ability to communicate effectively with various audiences and across disciplines
- Experience with project support including planning, executing, coordinating, and ongoing project evaluation
- Experience with inter/transdisciplinary and translational research
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
- Comfortable engaging with students, staff, and faculty to support event planning
Responsibilities
- Support Penn State faculty and staff in programming and events
- Help track indicators of progress toward goals and completion of deliverables
- Contribute support to research teams for Accelerator projects as needed
Other
- Up to 20 hours per week
- Must submit both a resume and cover letter stating their interest
- Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies
- Must be a current Penn State student or employee to apply internally
- Must be able to work in a hybrid position that combines remote and on-campus work
