Penn State is looking to solve the problem of conducting field and laboratory work, including post-fire measurements, data management, and statistical analysis, with a focus on wildland fire and prescribed burning.
Requirements
- Knowledge of and experience with wildland fire, including prescribed burning, is preferred
- ability to conduct field work under harsh conditions
- ability to process litter samples and manage data
- ability to work with survey results and perform statistical analysis
- experience with data management and statistical analysis
- ability to write and perform administrative duties
- ability to work weekend hours
