Penn State's College of Education is seeking a part-time Research Assistant to support research initiatives in workforce and higher education.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Products (Excel, Word, etc.).
- (Preferred) Graduate coursework in research ethics, methods, or educational and learning theories.
- (Preferred) Research interests in workforce development and higher education.
Responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive literature reviews based on specified analytical criteria.
- Summarizing, synthesizing, and identifying patterns across relevant studies.
- Assisting in the preparation and development of scholarly manuscripts.
- Performing additional research-related tasks as assigned.
Other
- Excellent organizational and time management skills without micromanagement, the ability to work independently, and the ability to act ethically with research subjects and data
- Fluent English language writing, speaking, and comprehension.
- Ability to collaborate with others in a positive and productive way.
- Must (a) pass and maintain CITI training status and (b) become an authorized adult per AD39.
- Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
