The Management and Organization Department in the Smeal College of Business at Penn State is seeking a research assistant to examine language in news articles and other organizational text data to help with faculty research.

Responsibilities
- use natural language or machine learning techniques to help identify the language themes in a variety of organizational-related text data.
- web scrapping
- data cleaning/combining skills may also be needed.
Other
- part-time job position
- approximately 10-20 hours per week for the spring 2024 semester.
- Approval of remote and hybrid work is not guaranteed regardless of work location.
- Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
