The Social, Life, & Engineering Sciences Imaging Center (SLEIC) at Penn State University is seeking a part-time MRI technologist to contribute to the university's thriving research environment by providing state-of-the-art brain imaging and data analysis facilities.
Requirements
- registered as an RT/MRI Technologist with MRI certification
- experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging including high-field scanning
- familiarity with MRI in a research-oriented facility
Responsibilities
- scanning adult and pediatric research participants using a broad range of established and new methods
- ensuring participant safety
- collaboration on the development of imaging protocols
- troubleshooting and implementing changes to existing protocols in collaboration with the investigators
- conducting safety training
- other related duties
