To analyze and interpret assessment data to improve student achievement and overall academic performance of K12 schools in Florida
Requirements
- Experience in using academic data to impact instruction and school strategic planning
- Knowledge of data processing software
- Ability to communicate technical information in a way that is understandable to all stakeholders
- Knowledge of quality management, systems, and strategic planning
- Ability to learn new software and processes as they become available
- Experience working with large data sets including data analysis, interpretation, and display
- Experience working with SQL, Snowflake
Responsibilities
- Assist with analyzing local, state, and national assessment data as it relates to individual student performance and school improvement
- Develop and maintain historical student and school data files to monitor and track performance
- Interpret and review assessment data with administrators and teachers
- Compile data from multiple assessments to develop student, subject, grade-level, or school achievement profiles
- Work with faculty and staff in schools to conduct training in the use of data to improve instruction
- Ensure the validity of all data presented to staff and stakeholders
Other
- Ability to travel at least 15% of the time
- Ability to pass required background check
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or field related
- Two (2) years of data analyst experience OR Equivalent combination of education and experience
