The YouTube Music Partner Solutions team needs to license music rights on the platform through record labels, music publishers, and collection societies agreements. The objective is to grow the businesses of the Music Partners while also enabling YouTube users to enjoy their content on our platform.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
- 3 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
- Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Experience in a problem-solving role such as business intelligence, data analytics, or statistics.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical relationship with our top partners and work closely with the Business Development team to discuss new agreements and make sure these partners are successful on YouTube
- Identify, drive, and optimize the flow from existing and new business opportunities by leveraging YouTube technologies through prototyping and innovation, developing systems, tools and solutions to scale up partner support.
- Perform implementation reviews, communicate and seek adoption of new product features and internal tools, and ensure the prompt resolution of technical tests.
- Improve product feature offerings by providing partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams including Product Management and Engineering.
- Guarantee the technical aspects of a partner’s integration (both new and ongoing) by providing necessary documentation and technical guidance.

- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $123,000-$176,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
