Requirements
- Experience with system architecture or device bring-up of Android or other Linux-based platforms.
- Experience with Android application or Android device development.
- 5 years of experience in either system design or reading code (e.g., Java, C++, Python, etc.).
- 5 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
Responsibilities
- Manage technical projects with Automotive industry partners, guiding Android Auto solution planning and implementation.
- Provide technical expertise regarding Android Auto integration in emerging system architectures.
- Maintain and enhance Android Auto compatibility and platform updatability.
- Develop tools and processes to streamline partner engagements and guarantee high product quality.
- Guide planning, implementation and certification of Android Auto devices.
- Advocate for and translate industry needs to Google Engineering and Product teams in order to shape future platform development.
- Inform strategic partnership decisions.
