Ohio Machinery Co. is looking for an intern to assist in their parts department, ensuring the efficient maintenance of heavy equipment and engine parts inventory to support technicians and customers.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in a related high-school level career-based educational program, such as Power Equipment Technology, Industrial Diesel Mechanics, Ag Equipment Mechanics, or other industrial-related programs.
Responsibilities
- Pulling and packaging parts orders in the parts warehouse
- Inspecting pulled orders for accuracy
- Perform general housekeeping duties to keep the parts warehouse clean, safe, and organized
- Deliver (on foot) parts orders to Servicemen in the shop
Other
- Must have a strong capacity for learning and be career oriented.
- Ability to work individually or with a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Lifting/Carrying 40 lb. Lift/Carry and 50lb pulling.
- Standing/Sitting Up and down stairs, standing, sitting, and climbing into machines.
