SPA delivers high-impact, technical solutions to complex national security issues. The candidate will provide Software Engineering guidance and support to the Patriot US Army government project office (PO), ensuring adherence to applicable service and agency safety policies, criteria, and standards to support fielding to US Army locations.
Requirements
- Experience with air and missile defense systems including PATRIOT
- Demonstrated experience applying DoD/Army policies and regulations for systems safety is required
- CCaR experience managing budget line items
- FMS funding experience
- Microsoft Office product experience
Responsibilities
- Serves as the USG Lead Software Engineer for Diagnostic software across the PATRIOT system
- Primary budget poc for PATRIOT software
- Manages CCaR budget line items
- Manages allocation of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) support funding for the entire PATRIOT Software Team
Other
- A bachelor’s degree (or Master’s) in an Engineering–oriented discipline or safety related field and 15+ years of relevant experience is required
- DoD Secret clearance, and the ability to maintain it throughout employment
- Candidate must be able to think independently and be self-motivated, with proven organizational skills, ability to multi-task and support varied assignments
