Requirements
- Expert proficiency in software development lifecycle management.
- Foundational expertise with software programming.
- LabVIEW certification
- Track record of solving difficult multi-disciplinary technical problems.
- Lean and Six Sigma experience such as a Green Belt certification or higher.
Responsibilities
- This role focuses on development and technical escalation of solutions (electrical, mechanical, software) that are integrated into MECC manufacturing and information systems, and a portfolio of test systems deployed across the site.
- Build and develop a highly engaged team and ensure the processes used to design, develop, integrate, deploy, and support custom equipment, tooling, and software solutions apply rigorous, Six Sigma engineering methods focused on our customers and patients.
- Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
- Authorizes hiring, firing, promotion, and rewards within own area. Activities include performance reviews and career-growth development of employees.
- Recommends strategies, goals, and plans for a group. Will be key to create and implement strategies focused on cost effective solutions, reuse initiatives, obsolescence management, new technology capabilities, and increasing capacity for current and future manufacturing operational efficiencies.
- Provides leadership and active engagement in cross functional improvement efforts with other leaders and subject matter experts across the matrix.
- Typically has mastery level knowledge and skills within manufacturing software or electrical test domain with broad understanding of other areas within the job function.
