Gusto is seeking to design, configure, test, and maintain Workday solutions that support its HR and payroll processes, to ensure efficient, scalable, and business-ready functionality.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on Workday development experience.
  • Strong understanding of Workday security, business processes, reporting and calculated fields.
  • Workday certifications (HCM, Benefits, Time Tracking, Reporting).
  • Experience in HR, payroll, benefits, or related domains.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HR Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

  • Configure Workday modules (e.g., HCM, Talent, Absence, Compensation, Payroll, Time Tracking) based on business requirements.
  • Develop and update Workday Business Processes, calculated fields, condition rules, and security roles.
  • Implement new features and optimize existing Workday functionality with each Workday release.
  • Develop advanced, matrix, composite, and dashboard reports in Workday.
  • Provide data insights and ensure data accuracy across systems.
  • Support audits through reporting and documentation.
  • Perform regression and functional testing for biannual Workday releases.

Other

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HR Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Employees who are based in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City will be expected to work from the office on designated days approximately 2-3 days per week.
  • A secure, reliable, and consistent internet connection is required when working from a location other than a Gusto office.
