Salt Lake County is looking to drive innovation, cultivate curiosity, and strengthen relationships by developing goals and metrics for performance management, designing and maintaining data collection and management systems, conducting quantitative and qualitative research, and communicating complex information to a range of stakeholders. The role will perform advanced analytics to support strategic planning, operational decision-making, and continuous improvement efforts, and support the design, implementation, and improvement of customer and employee experience systems.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Develops goals and metrics for performance management

- Performs advanced analytics, including statistical analysis, forecasting, predictive modeling, and prescriptive modeling
- Supports the design, implementation, and improvement of customer and employee experience systems, including surveys, feedback tools, dashboards, and qualitative analysis
- Designs and develops reports, graphs, dashboards, presentations, and narratives to convey complex data and information for internal and public use
- Engages with other technical experts to design, develop, and improve data tools and reports
Other
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Data Analytics, Information Science, Economics, Sociology, Business Administration, Public Administration, Public Policy, or related field, plus four (4) years of related experience; OR an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
- Due to the nature of this position, the successful applicant must pass a required background check through fingerprinting and enrollment in the continuous RAP Back (Record of Arrest and Prosecution Back) program in accordance with current County Human Resources policy requirements.
