Requirements
- Proficiency in various data modeling techniques (conceptual, logical, physical)
- Expertise in designing relational databases and understands data normalization and denormalizations
- Fluent in SQL Server development (DDL, Stored procedures, Views)
- Experienced in implementing data catalog and data lineage systems
- Experience in Microsoft Purview
- Experience with data lake/data marts/data warehouse
- Working experience in a Linux based environment
Responsibilities
- Develop data models that represent the structure and relationships of data within the organization
- Implement data governance initiatives, including data catalog, data quality framework, and data lineage
- Monitor and optimize data systems for performance, ensuring that data is processed and access efficiently
- Establish and enforce data best practices through comprehensive, documented guidelines and a transparent review process
