Requirements
- In progress towards earning Pharm D degree in an accredited School of Pharmacy
- Pharmacist Intern Permit where applicable by state law
- Immunization Certification
- Systems aptitude
- Computer skills
Responsibilities
- Utilize and bring your coursework to life, while gaining a comprehensive knowledge of the retail pharmacy industry
- Work with your preceptor, Pharmacy Manager, pharmacists, and technicians to learn to better serve customer needs
- Answer questions, provide counseling on prescriptions, and relay any pertinent information so customers can successfully and confidently use medication at home
- Proactively contact internal and external business partners; comply with all federal, state, and HIPAA regulations; ensure company guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures are followed
