The Ohio State University's James | Pharmacy Administration is seeking a Pharmacy Research Technician 4 to manage investigational product (IP) and provide technical direction and assistance with clinical trial protocols, coordinate daily workflow, and support the operation of the department.
Requirements
- Active OH Board of Pharmacy Certified Pharmacy Technician registration, PTCB/NHA certification
- Minimum of 18 months experience within OSUWMC in the role of Research Pharmacy Technician III.
Responsibilities
- Manage investigational product (IP) and provide technical direction and assistance with clinical trial protocols.
- Serves as a functional and technical expert; leads and directs technical activities.
- Anticipates, recognizes and solves complex technician-related issues and questions that arise within the team, department, or with customers
- Assists with sponsor site visits and associated documentation.
- The monitor and sponsor liaison position serves as a functional and technical specialist for monitoring, auditing and sponsor relations.
- The role leads and directs technical activities related to monitoring and auditing.
- The satellite support position serves as a functional and technical specialist for investigational product inventory.
