Nokia of America Corporation is seeking a Photonic Test Engineer to design and execute experiments, develop automated test stations, and support the adaptation of test platforms for high-volume manufacturing, ultimately aiming to improve the design and performance of photonic and electronic integrated circuits.

Responsibilities
- Design and execute experiments to characterize photonic and electronic integrated circuits.
- Develop automated wafer and chip test stations for accurate and repeatable data acquisition.
- Integrate and automate commercial hardware platforms for use in test platforms.
- Design, evaluate, and improve custom hardware using computer-aided design (CAD) software and rapid prototyping tools.
- Support the adaptation of the test station from the R&D phase into high-volume manufacturing test platforms.

- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems, Physics or a related field.
- If offered employment, must have legal right to work in the U.S.
- Domestic travel up to 10% required.
- International travel up to 10% required.
- Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of New York, NY may be permitted up to 40%.
