The company is looking for a skilled PHP LAMP Developer to join their dynamic development team to build scalable, secure, and efficient web applications, ranging from developing new features to maintaining and improving existing systems.

Requirements

  • hands-on experience with the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
  • Design, optimize, and maintain MySQL databases, including writing efficient queries and stored procedures.
  • Configure and manage Linux-based servers and Apache environments.
  • Troubleshoot server and application performance issues.
  • Perform code reviews and implement improvements for maintainability and scalability.
  • Identify and resolve bugs and technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide technical support for deployed applications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy scalable PHP-based web applications using the LAMP stack.
  • Maintain and enhance existing applications, ensuring high performance and security.
  • Design, optimize, and maintain MySQL databases, including writing efficient queries and stored procedures.
  • Ensure data integrity, backups, and system reliability.
  • Configure and manage Linux-based servers and Apache environments.
  • Troubleshoot server and application performance issues.
  • Write clean, reusable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.

Other

  • This is a 3.5 month contract to hire
  • primarily remote but requires onsite meetings 2-3 times per month.
  • Work closely with front-end developers, designers, and project managers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Maintain clear and detailed documentation for code, database structures, and application processes.
