Nokia Bell Labs is seeking interns to conduct research in areas such as AI/ML, data science, quantum systems, optical networking, algorithms, or advanced computing to inform real-world technology solutions and contribute to building the future of human experience through disruptive innovation and research.
Requirements
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, C/C++, MATLAB, or similar).
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Research exposure in algorithms, networking, quantum, or optics.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research in one or more areas such as AI/ML, data science, quantum systems, optical networking, algorithms, or advanced computing.
- Translate theoretical models into prototypes and simulations that inform real-world technology solutions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across physics, mathematics, computer science, and engineering.
- Present your findings and recommendations to researchers and stakeholders at the end of your internship.
Other
- Currently enrolled in a Doctoral or Graduate Program with a concentration in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Computational Sciences, or a related STEM discipline at an accredited university in the United States.
- Strong foundation in quantitative analysis and problem-solving.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a research-driven, collaborative environment.
- Prior publications or conference presentations.
