Olympic Products LLC is looking to solve problems related to the repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment, as well as the maintenance of building and utility systems within their facility.
Requirements
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.
- Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
- Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
- Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.,) in its most difficult phases.
- Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
- Utilize electrical test equipment, meters and scopes.
Responsibilities
- Researches and implements corrective actions to problems with production lines and facility equipment
- Responsible for maintenance department operation, budget, spare parts inventory, and outside contractors working on site
- Conducts maintenance downtime review
- Responsible for HS&E elements, Control of Hazardous energy, Hot Work Permits, Preventative Maintenance
- Utilize electrical test equipment, meters and scopes.
- Must be able to operate all shop equipment and tools
Other
- Follow all general safety regulations and use provided safety equipment as required.
- Understand ISO 9001 requirements / Olympic Quality Policy. Always follow work instructions and procedures as established through Olympic Quality Policy.
- Supervises Facility Manager, Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Specialist, maintenance hourly employees and administrative clerk
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from four-year College or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to work overtime or irregular hours to include Saturdays, Sundays and holidays is essential for this position.
