Avery Dennison is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead supplier improvement and critical ISO systems to drive a world-class quality culture for Graphics operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years industry experience required
- Good trouble-shooting/problem-solving and mechanical ability
- Demonstrated problem-solving experience
- Proficient in Google and Microsoft Office
- Previous Quality or Process Engineering experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead Supplier Quality Improvement initiatives driving corrective action and managing the raw material rejection process to minimize internal losses and impact to HOLD accrual
- Maintain and improve reporting tools for critical quality metrics
- Lead quality projects to support the operations quality strategy improving reduction in customer claims in the market and/ or reducing internal losses
- Lead customer and internal corrective action requests implementing countermeasures to prevent recurrence
- Establish and assess quality testing standards and required frequencies based on risk and product requirements.
- Analyze data trends to understand capability of critical to quality attributes measured in testing
- Site Calibration Quality lead and review of inspection equipment adequacy and needs

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science or equivalent
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
