Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3+ years focused on platform architecture.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related services.
- Experience designing and implementing microservices-based architectures.
- Proficiency in API design (REST, GraphQL) and integration patterns.
- Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of distributed systems, data streaming, and event-driven architecture.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the overall architecture of the platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and propose strategic adoption to improve the platform ecosystem.
- Guide engineering teams in designing microservices, APIs, integration layers, and platform components.
- Design and optimize cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Ensure the platform meets security best practices and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO, SOC, GDPR).
- Monitor platform performance and recommend tuning strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Establish architectural standards, coding guidelines, and platform governance processes.
Other
- Work with cross-functional teams (product managers, developers, DevOps, QA) to align technical solutions with business needs.
- Maintain architecture blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in large-scale, multi-tenant SaaS platform design.
- Certification in AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, or equivalent.
