Raytheon is looking to solve tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world by hiring a Platform Engineer II / Full Stack Developer to implement and maintain AWS Cloud based technologies for their computing/network/storage systems and related software.
Requirements
- Experience with programming languages (E.g. Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C-Sharp, Go)
- Experience with modernization technologies such as: Terraform/Ansible, Artifactory, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, Sonarqube etc
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or relevant technologies
- Experience with defining, designing and delivering new features
- Experience with Front end and Back-end web development
- Experience with AI coding assistant technologies
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and tools
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Artifactory and Gitlab
- Assist with integration of the selected platform provisioning tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
- Utilize DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Artifactory as well as version control via use of Git and Bitbucket accordingly.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices
Other
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- TS/SCI without Polygraph
- Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and a minimum 3 years of related work experience
- Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g. scrum, SAFe)
