Aflac is seeking to enhance its SAP platform by providing support on architectural design and maintenance, ensuring compliance with organizational requirements, and deploying tailored applications to meet company needs.

Requirements

• SAP ABAP programming experience (required)
• SAP FS-RI experience (preferred)
• SAP FS-CD experience (preferred)
• Advanced experience with software configuration and modern programming languages
• Ability to troubleshoot challenging problems across the platform & its HW/SW components
• Proven experience in Scrum and DevOps methodologies
• Four or more years of experience in release practices and environments or other related experience

Responsibilities

• Provides support on architectural design and maintenance of the SAP platform’s (COTS, SaaS, ERP) environment with distributed components
• Ensures compliance with the organization's requirements through the implementation of, auditing of, and adherence to policies, procedures, and security standards
• Plans software upgrades, patching, & plugin installations in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Monitors performance, resolves problems, & manages component capacity issues
• Design, test, develop, configure, & maintain integrations to platform’s applications
• Adhere to the platform’s security and coding standards for resilience, data, and security
• Review business requirements to deploy the best solution, including configuring, coding, & debugging

Other

• Ability to guide and mentor junior team members
• Lead medium projects
• Work closely with cross-functional departments to communicate statuses & technical proposals
• Travel may be required for a final interview.
• Depending on your location within the continental US, this role may be hybrid or remote.
