LMI is seeking a Platform Engineer to support Army enterprise solutions, leveraging mission-ready technology and solutions to enhance outcomes for the government.
Requirements
- Expertise in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience architecting and developing software/infrastructure for scalable, secure, and distributed systems on Hybrid or Multi-cloud environments.
- Experience using GitLab for CI/CD and automated deployments.
- Experience with IAC and automation scripts.
- Competency with at least one software development programming languages (Python, Java, GO).
- Strong familiarity using Linux toolsets to support and analyze network related topics and issues.
- Demonstrated experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage the logical infrastructure that applications will run on (Platform as a Service – PaaS).
- Ensure all new software functions smoothly across various programs and platforms, including mobile systems.
- Automate the testing, deployment and configuration management processes.
- Maintain the underlying infrastructure including hardware, software, and storage resources to ensure the infrastructure’s reliability, scalability, and security.
- Configure and deploy containerized applications using Docker & Kubernetes.
- Write original code and update existing code, ensuring that all code meets program requirements.
- Perform intensive testing of all new and existing programs to ensure they are free of errors and function as intended.
Other
- Minimum of 5 year’s experience planning, analyzing, designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining Army software applications.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field (Preferred).
- Previous government technology experience.
- Active DoD Clearance (Preferred).
- COMPTIA Sec+ or equivalent.
