Sharetec is looking to modernize and optimize its infrastructure and deployment processes, scale automation practices, and address inefficiencies to improve system performance and reliability.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience with Ansible
- Strong CI/CD automation background, preferably with Gitlab, Ansible, and Terraform
- Experience implementing centralized configuration management
- Familiarity with DORA metrics and implementing them from scratch
- Comfortable bridging the gap between engineering and infrastructure teams
Responsibilities
- Monitor our systems performance and work with the team to identify opportunities to be more reliable
- Design an automation framework that allows us to perform rolling releases within hours of approval from QA to production
- Takeover and standardize our automation for creating ephemeral testing servers for both internal and external customers
- Review our deployment strategy and create a plan to standardize configuration management in a single repository
- Guide and mentor our team on an infrastructure as code strategy
- Reduce our MTTR to less than 1 hour for deployment related incidents
- Automate 90% of our teams repetitive, manual work so they can be free to focus on the finer details

- 2+ years managing a team of DevOps engineers
- KPI driven, utilizing metrics to help tell a story when making decisions
- Mentor attitude, willing to roll up your sleeves and work alongside your team
- This is a full-time, exempt role that can be fully remote in 30+ states or hybrid at one of our office sites in Fort Wayne, IN or Waco, TX.
