EPAM Georgia is seeking an experienced Regional Platform Engineering Manager to lead and oversee platform engineering efforts across multiple countries to advance the organization’s capabilities, offerings, and core competencies.
Requirements
- Professional experience in platform engineering, cloud technologies, and infrastructure management
- Knowledge of cloud computing architectures and cloud service offerings
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, system monitoring, and security standards
- Proven capability to manage and maintain production infrastructures using tools such as Terraform and Crossplane
- Experience in building and maintaining internal developer portals using tools like Backstage
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code practices
- Competency in container platforms and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
Responsibilities
- Act as a primary technical representative for clients, ensuring alignment with their requirements
- Architect, deploy, and maintain scalable and reliable platform solutions
- Develop CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery processes
- Leverage tools like Terraform and Crossplane to establish infrastructure as code (IaC) practices for scalable infrastructure management
- Build internal developer portals with tools like Backstage to improve developer efficiency
- Create and manage observability platforms with features like monitoring, logging, and tracing to maintain system performance
- Implement and maintain scalable container platforms leveraging Kubernetes and other modern technologies
