Wells Fargo is seeking an Operations Engineer to join the Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology (CCIBT) organization to support day-to-day operations across infrastructure with a focus on reliability, monitoring, and incident response, contributing to the stability and performance of business-critical systems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Infrastructure domains, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 3+ years of experience managing production support
• 3+ years of experience supporting production environments and responding to incidents.
• 2+ years experience of infrastructure platforms such as Unix, Linux, Windows, VMware, OpenShift, Database, Network or Storage.
• Exposure to SRE principles and operational metrics (SLIs/SLOs).
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus).
• Basic scripting or automation experience (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ansible).

Responsibilities

• Monitor infrastructure health and respond to alerts and performance issues
• Execute patching, upgrades, and configuration changes under guidance
• Participate in root cause analysis and post-incident reviews
• Maintain compliance with operational standards and controls
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the operations team
• Work on complex, broad impact initiatives including provision of high-level systems consultation for the technology teams
• Work as key participant in large scale planning of computer systems and network infrastructure for Systems Operations functional area
