The Passenger QA Classifiers job is to determine if the rejected tires from 100% are repairable, scrap, or first class according to the QMD, and perform various audits.
Requirements
- Able to classify and inspect tires according to QMD standards.
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets, (MSDS)
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Previous manufacturing Quality experience
Responsibilities
- Able to classify and inspect tires according to QMD standards.
- Notify appropriate personnel of scrap tires that repeat.
- Perform various audits, including, but not limited to dirty mold audit, serial audit.
- Will be cross trained to perform all QA technician inspection jobs.
- QA Technician will follow all plant rules, and will follow departmental safety policies, environmental policies, and chemical handling procedures , including being familiar with Material Safety Data Sheets, (MSDS)
- QA Technician will follow standard practice for this specific job and perform all work necessary to obtain quality production.
- Perform other duties as directed by the QA Supervisor, Chief Inspector or QA Manager.
