PMC is seeking an AI-First Full Stack Engineer to transform their development workflows by leveraging artificial intelligence, enhance development productivity, code quality, and product capabilities on their WordPress and Laravel-based systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of PHP development experience with strong knowledge of WordPress and Laravel frameworks
- 3+ years of React and TypeScript experience with solid understanding of NextJS, hooks, testing, and modern frontend architecture
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and AI-powered development workflows
- Proven experience with agentic coding solutions and next-gen IDEs (Cursor, Devin, Junie, Claude Code, etc.)
- Experience with DevOps practices including Docker containerization, GitHub Actions CI/CD, and AWS services
- Proficiency in RESTful API design and maintenance, and microservices architecture
- Experience with MySQL database design and optimization (PostgreSQL is a plus)
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable WordPress plugins and Laravel applications using modern PHP practices
- Build responsive, performant React and NextJS frontend applications with AI-enhanced user experiences
- Help design and implement AI-powered features such as editorial tools, assistants, agents, and intelligent automation
- Architect API integrations between WordPress, Laravel, and external services
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Containerize applications using Docker and deploy to AWS Fargate for scalable production environments
- Manage AWS infrastructure including S3 for asset storage, Lambda for serverless functions, and Bedrock for AI services
