Westinghouse Electric Co is looking to support its mission to provide clean energy solutions by developing technical products and systems for the Poland AP1000 Project. This involves contributing to department initiatives for estimating future contracts, optimizing procurement and construction, and managing technical requests from various stakeholders.
Requirements
- Pursue a bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, nuclear, electrical or civil engineering
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Complete Sophomore year of college
Responsibilities
- Contribute to department initiatives for estimating future Poland contracts.
- Support optimization of long-lead procurement and AP1000 construction.
- Review customer-issued technical specifications for Poland nuclear plants
- Assist in developing Westinghouse technical positions with internal support.
- Assess and respond to technical requests from suppliers, customers, regulators, and consortium partners.
- Collaborate with Global Engineering Services to formulate response plans.
- Compile and organize technical design information into comprehensive reports.
Other
- Learn and apply Westinghouse's Nuclear Safety Culture Traits and Human Performance tools.
- Interface with construction partners, module suppliers, fabricators, and regulators.
