Peraton is seeking to advance the safety, efficiency, and modernization of the National Airspace System (NAS) through the FAA's Brand New Air Traffic Control System (BNATCS) contract by designing and implementing dynamic, secure, and data-driven web solutions.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, SQL) and at least one programming language such as Java, C-Sharp, VB, or ColdFusion.
  • Experience developing database-driven web applications and integrating them with enterprise systems.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design, web accessibility, and security best practices.
  • Knowledge of web servers, middleware, and server-side scripting.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based development environments, DevSecOps pipelines, and containerized web applications.
  • Experience with data visualization tools or analytics dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Understanding of Section 508 compliance and federal web security requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy custom web applications and components that enhance information sharing and collaboration across FAA programs.
  • Build responsive, user-friendly web interfaces to new and existing databases using technologies such as HTML, CSS, SQL, JavaScript, C-Sharp, VB, Java, or ColdFusion.
  • Develop database-driven web portals that provide real-time access to FAA systems and operational data.
  • Implement user-driven templates, dashboards, and data input forms that simplify access to complex systems.
  • Collaborate with systems engineers, UI/UX designers, and cybersecurity specialists to ensure portal reliability, usability, and compliance with FAA standards.
  • Integrate web applications with enterprise systems, APIs, and reporting tools for seamless data exchange.
  • Support full software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities - from requirements analysis and design to testing, deployment, and maintenance.

  • Must have the ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience or Masters degree and 3 years or Associate's degree and 7 years experience or HS diploma/equivalent and 9 years experience.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, agile environment with cross-functional teams.
