Clemson University is seeking a Post-Doctoral Fellow to contribute to cutting-edge research projects focusing on AI-driven Quality Prediction for Spot Welds and Modernizing Manufacturing Systems to Enable Industry 4.0.
Requirements
- Strong background in machine learning, data analytics, and digitalization technologies
- Excellent programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages
- Experience in smart manufacturing research
- Experience in manufacturing field, particularly in the automotive or plastic/composites industry
Responsibilities
- Conduct high-level research in both projects and collaborate with the projects’ teams
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at national and international conferences
- Contribute to the mentorship and supervision of graduate students within the research group
- Support the team in the preparation of proposals for the follow-on funding
