The Postdoctoral Associate will assist the Principal Investigator in the Department of Radiology to investigate generative models, with a focus on their applications to next-generation MR image reconstruction.
Requirements
- Proficiency in machine learning libraries (e.g, scikit-learn, PyTorch, and transformers) and data analysis tools (e.g., pandas, NumPy, and CuPy).
- Hands-on experience in training large neural networks (generative models).
- Hands-on experience in medical image reconstruction.
- Proficiency in Python, C/C++, and Unix-like operating systems.
- Background in MRI physics is a plus.
- applying reinforcement learning to MRI systems.
Responsibilities
- Investigate generative models, with a focus on their applications to next-generation MR image reconstruction.
- Train deep neural networks; perform quantitative data analysis; collect and analyze data, including periodic/literature search and utilizing specialized skills in related field to analyze the collected data.
- Participate/assist in manuscript writing for publication in scientific journals and/or presentations; assist PI with grant applications.
- Lab maintenance, including equipment maintenance and ordering of supplies as needed; other duties as assigned, which may include attending scientific conferences and meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Other
- Doctoral Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computational Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field.
